Glamor Russia magazine deprived the former Ukrainian television star Regina Todorenko, who moved to Russia a few years ago, of the title of "Woman of the Year 2019". The reason for this decision was the scandal surrounding Ms. Todorenko's statements about victims of domestic violence. Recently, she gave an interview together with her husband Vlad Topalov, who was banned from entering Ukraine due to his anti-Ukrainian activities.
"I didn't know it was violence until I almost died"
"And then he started choking me." Why violence during sex is becoming commonplace

Poroshenko signed the law on speech quotas on TV. During a conversation with journalists, Todorenko rudely spoke out against victims of domestic violence. "You have to be such a mentally ill person to pick up a camera and say: "God, my husband is beating me! What's wrong? Do you have any brains at all? Why is he hitting you, haven't you thought about it? And what did you do so that he did not beat you? And what did you do to make him hit you," she said.
These words caused a real storm of emotions. Later, Regina Todorenko apologized for the words and "incorrect wording", insisting that she is against domestic violence. However, this did not save her from the fact that Glamor Russia magazine decided to punish the star in a way.During the 15 years we have been with you, you have learned our values... Regina Todorenko no longer has the title of "Woman of the Year," the magazine said.
