The presented design project of the apartment "Mazanka" embodies the idea of
continuity of times. Folk ethno-motifs give a special flavor
to the projected premises.
A mud hut is a structure made of bricks with lime laid between pillars
connected by crossbars, a type of urban and rural house (especially
characteristic of Ukraine) made of small forest or reeds, coated with
clay.
This project harmoniously combines ancient techniques of wall treatment
(clay plaster with a relief surface) minimalistic interior
and modern engineering systems that provide comfort of living.
Eco-friendly finishing materials and furniture materials (wood, clay,
metal, ceramics) are successfully complemented by interior items (wicker
lamps, wall compositions, author's ceramics).
