Hello, my
name is Oleksii Lupashko, Im from Ukraine, Odessa.

I play drums, keyboards, acoustic and electric guitar, bass-guitar, vibraphone, xylophone, marimba, bells, kongos and bongos timpani and other orchestral
instruments, lots of hand percussion. I also perform on ethnic instruments -
the Indonesian flute «Suling», the Ukrainian bagpipe
«Koza», Berimbau, Didgeridoo, Vargan, own signature Glucophones. I
also perfom electronic music (minimal house, embient).
I graduated from the Odessa Academy of Music in 2019, percussion class.

As a composer, I composed music for the children's play «Snegosaurus» for
the theater «TEO», Odessa 2020. Music for the Audio-Visual Festival
«Heritage. Dialogues» for the theater «TEO», 2020. Composed
music for the granite company «RUH International». In 2017, I
composed a soundtrack for Serhii Vovk's art-house film «Initiation».
I composed a soundtrack for Anatoliy Gankevich's film «The look of the
sun. Akvatoriya» with the music band «Potreba Group», 2020. I
also compose music for my avant-garde jazz project «No Metro Trio»
and an electronic project with Dmitry Kotovsky, double bass. I also do a set of
notes, transcriptions, arrangements, orchestrations for various groups.

As amusician I have had experience playing and recording a wide variety of music

-jazz, classical, orchestral, avant-garde, latin-american, afrobeat, pop, funk,
hip-hop, rock, rock-n-roll, blues, country, heavy-metal, electronic,
experimental, folk, etc. I have experience of playing at various festivals,
competitions (laureate of the first prize of the international percussion
competition 2012, Dnipro city).

I worked in the orchestras of the Philharmonic Society and the Musical Theater, as well as
the Odessa city jazz big-band. Also in various small groups at home and abroad.
Also more than seven years of teaching experience.
