Ukrainian poetry of the last third of the XIX century. Is a unique phenomenon in the spiritual culture of our people. It marked an important historical and literary progress in the Ukrainian art of words, harmoniously combining such important components for poetry as the subjectivity of experience and objective objectivity, emotional and rational principles.

Ukrainian poetry of this era was modern in terms of content and formal searches, and somewhat different from the previous traditional artistic system. In the 70s, a new turn in the development of poetry took place, its meaning can be characterized as a moment of meeting tradition with new, modern trends.
